An official credit evaluation will take place upon your admission. You will receive an email to your @kent.edu email when the evaluation is complete. 
For more information about transferring credits before you are admitted:

• - Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor for a preliminary review of your credits.
• - This estimator will allow you to look up the courses you have taken and see how they transfer to 91¿´Æ¬Íø.  
• Degree Pathways – 91¿´Æ¬Íø partners with community colleges, allowing you to easily apply the credits from your associate degree toward a Bachelor’s degree.  
• Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways – These pathways enable you to streamline credit transfer among Ohio public institutions and to find the best path to completing your degree.
• – Transferology is a nation-wide network designed to help students explore transfer options.  

• Submit an Application for Admission
• Request official transcripts:
  • High School or GED transcripts – Required if you have not completed at least 12 college-level semester credit hours.
  • Transcripts for every educational institution you have attended – This includes colleges, universities, trade schools and adult education programs. An official transcript is also required to transfer any College Credit Plus credits your completed while in high school. 
  • Official transcripts are accepted electronically and by postal mail. Please request that electronic transcripts be emailed to transcripts@kent.edu or mailed to: 

All transfer students will meet individually with an academic advisor to register for classes. When you have been officially admitted to the university, you can meet with an academic advisor.

When transferring, it is important to add the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Tuscarawas school code (003062) to the FAFSA and notify your current school to cancel all financial aid for any upcoming semesters. This allows you to receive a financial aid offer from 91¿´Æ¬Íø. Our financial aid staff is happy to talk with you to make sure your financial aid is in order.
