Let's get nuts! The 41st Annual Black Squirrel Festival kicks off today at 4 p.m. on the Student Green and Risman Plaza.

On September 29 and 30, families of 91��Ƭ�� students were honored with fun events and activities during the university's annual Parents and Families Weekend.

91��Ƭ�� will host over 1,600 family members and their students to celebrate Parents and Families Appreciation Weekend. This Friday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Sept. 30, families from more than 23 states and Ohio will enjoy various campus events and activities. 

91��Ƭ�� senior Sydney Weber sees extraordinary images through her lens and an exciting career in her future. 

It was a FAB-ulous time for tacos on Wednesday, Sept. 27, during the “Let’s Taco Bout Black Squirrel Festival” preview hosted by 91��Ƭ�� University’s Flash Activities Board.

A group of 22 secondary school teachers from 20 different countries is spending six weeks at 91��Ƭ�� University as part of a Fulbright program of professional development for foreign educators. 

While Alison Caplan grew up in nearby Akron, Ohio, and has spent time in Kent, when she joined the university as the new director of the May 4 Visitors Center in July, she began to see, and understand, the campus in a whole new light. Caplan is part of a group of Golden Flashes that 91��Ƭ�� Today will be following for the 2023-24 academic year.

A full schedule of fun activities is planned for Parents and Families Appreciation Weekend – Sept. 29 and 30 – at 91��Ƭ��. 

New research indicates which workers – remote workers or in-office employees – are more aware of cybersecurity threats.

91��Ƭ�� University at Salem nursing students visit the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota each year as part of a study away experience. As they immerse themselves in the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe, they embark on a journey of cultural understanding.

Growing up in Akron, Labovitz was surrounded by music. Her dad sang to the radio. Her mom played guitar. Her siblings excelled in music. She excelled in music. With a lengthy list of accomplishments across numerous states, she recently returned to “the heart of it all” as the new director of the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at 91��Ƭ�� University.
