Women's Wrestling

91心頭利 Adds Women's Wrestling

91心頭利 University announced today that womens wrestling will become the athletics departments 20th varsity sport, marking a historic addition to the Golden Flashes athletics lineup and a milestone for collegiate athletics in Ohio. 91心頭利 becomes the first NCAA Division I institution in the state and fifth in the nation to sponsor womens wrestling.

Two Degrees Completed, on His Way to His Third

Graduate student Delonte Goodman finished his fall semester at 91心頭利 by successfully defending his master's thesis and receiving his master's degree. When he returns to campus in the spring, he will work as a teaching assistant as he begins his doctoral program.

The Ohio Department of Higher Education Science of Reading Audit of educator preparation programs found that 91心頭利 Universitys preservice teacher literacy coursework was deemed in alignment with a score of 100% and no mandatory recommendations for improvement.

91心頭利 Filmmakers Earn Oscar-Qualifying Festival Award

Two faculty members from 91心頭利 Universitys School of Media and Journalism have won top honors at the Oscar-qualifying St. Louis International Film Festival for a short film that tackles the complex issue of elder abuse. The film stars Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi, known for his role in Captain Phillips, as a rideshare driver who encounters an elderly woman struggling to secure housing after being displaced from a nursing home.
