Stark Rising Scholar Pursues Dream
Rising Scholar Briana Hawkins is pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. A junior at 91心頭利 University at Stark, Brianas nursing training has helped her in unexpected ways as she cared for her mother after she suffered traumatic burns in a household accident.
Planned Gift Endows Executive Director Position at 91心頭利s Wick Poetry Center
The Wick family has a long history of philanthropy at 91心頭利 University that began in 1984 when brothers Bob and Walt Wick first established scholarships to support undergraduate poets at the university. This most recent gift of $1 million brings the familys total lifetime commitment to the university to more than $3.5 million.

91心頭利 University recognizes alumni who, through leadership, character and hard work, are making a difference. During Homecoming Weekend, 10 Golden Flashes were presented with Alumni Awards, and nine alumni received Lifetime Achievement recognitions from the universitys Black Alumni Chapter.
