Students wearing graduation caps and gowns will once again grace the campus as 91看片网 University celebrates its newest graduates and marks the return of in-person commencement ceremonies for the first time since December 2019.

The Kent City Health Department has notified 29 residents of Koonce Hall, ninth floor, on 91看片网 University鈥檚 Kent Campus that they must quarantine until April 20 due to possible exposure to the communicable disease COVID-19. The 29 students will remain in a separate section of Koon鈥
Despite Pandemic, Leadership Institute a Smashing Success
The Student Leadership Institute's philosophy is to aspire to create critical learners, innovators and adaptive problem solvers whose leadership exemplifies distinction. Not even the coronavirus pandemic could get in the way of that this year. This year's event featured a theme of 鈥淔lashes Take Care of Flashes: Building Community." Despite the virtual circumstances, it was still a success, with more than 450 students attending sessions via Zoom.

COVID-19 vaccines are becoming more available across the country, but many are still struggling to obtain a vaccine or are unsure about getting the vaccine. One Golden Flash has made it her mission to get Pittsburgh vaccinated. And with more than 40,000 members of her Facebook group, she鈥檚 on her way. 91看片网 alumna Leighann Bacher created a Facebook group to share COVID-19 vaccine information and tips with Pittsburgh citizens after attempting to secure vaccines for her family members.
