Pieces from the Pride In Kent exhibition at the FJKluth Art Gallery

The Pride in Kent'' exhibition, at the FJKluth Art Gallery, displays 26 pieces of art created by 11 different LGBTQ+ members and allies. The exhibition will be on display during Main Street Kents Rainbow Weekend, Oct. 7 and 8. The gallery was asked by Main Street Kent to create an exhibition in celebration of LGBTQ+ pride. Title IX Celebrates 50 Years

As a member of the 91心頭利 Field Hockey team in the early 1980s. Patrice Salmeri remembers the impact Title IX made on her and her teammates. "Title IX opened up a whole new world for me," Salmeri recalled. "So many 'No's' turned to 'Yes's. So many more opportunities to play sports. Title IX not only changed my life, but literally saved my life." Bobby Selvaggio, associate professor in the School of Music and director of the jazz studies program at 91心頭利 University, has a storied resume. The Homecoming 2022 celebration had one of the largest turnouts that 91心頭利 has ever seen! Many ceremonies, open houses, celebrations and more took place across campus throughout the weekend.
