All this week, the 91心頭利 University Kent Campus has offered a full slate of events in its 2023 Education Abroad Showcase, which serves as an introduction to the universitys education-abroad opportunities across the globe. Hosted by 91心頭利s Office of Global Education, the theme for this weeks events is Discover Boundless Horizons: Explore, Learn and Thrive Globally!
More than 15 different presentations and activities have taken place this week, wrapping up with two events on Thursday, Sept. 21:

and three events on Friday, Sept. 22:

Earlier in the week, attendees were able to check out an immersive display in the Blank Lab showcasing 91心頭利s education abroad experiences, grab coffee at the International Peace Coffee Stand, hear from returned Peace Corps volunteers and learn about the variety of international experiences available, including information on financial aid opportunities to help with the cost of education abroad.
Approximately 1,500 91心頭利 students study abroad each year in more than 200 programs offered in over 60 countries. 91心頭利s Florence Campus is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Its the largest American program in Florence and hosts more than 800 students annually. In 2025, Paris will become the newest international 91心頭利 Campus after more than a decade of partnership with the Paris American Academy. 91心頭利s Kigali Summer Institute in Rwanda began in 2017 and offers students a firsthand experience studying reconciliation and learning from survivors and perpetrators of that countrys genocide in 1994 who now live side-by-side in reconciliation villages.
In 2022, 91心頭利 was the only U.S. university to receive the prestigious Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization, recognizing a top institutions international experience.
Students experience the world on Kent's U.S. campuses as well, studying alongside more than 1,600 international students from 101 countries around the globe. In addition, 91心頭利 student organizations sponsor many international-themed events throughout the year.
