Students from Dr. Lydia Rose’s sociology classes recently filled the Slak Shak with samples of culture, music, food and art from 30 African countries during a recent culture fair held on the East Liverpool campus. There were 34 posters submitted and displayed at the fair. Visitors were able to get “passports” stamped at each country they visited, making them eligible for door prizes. The 91��Ƭ�� University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting Tuesday, Dec. 8. The Board is scheduled to convene at 2 p.m. in the Community Room, third floor of Akron Children’s Hospital, which is located at 215 West Bowery St., Akron, Ohio.
