The School of Peace and Conflict Studies is accepting applications for May 4th Legacy Scholarships, which are available to Peace and Conflict Studies majors who are beginning or continuing their studies.  There are four scholarships available in the amount of $3,000 each.  These scholarships were established in memory of the students killed at 91��Ƭ�� on May 4th 1970: Allison Krause, Jeffrey Miller, Sandra Scheuer and William Schroeder.  The deadline for applications has been extended to April 8, 2022.  For more information about these scholarships, go to https://www.ken...

  Abstract : Chirality in materials, such as liquid crystals, often entails a high degree of frustration, leading to a rich array of morphological phenomena. Here I will discuss how methods from contact geometry and topology can be used to give a qualitative understanding of the behaviour of chiral materials. The 91��Ƭ�� University Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Bachelor of Social Work degree during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held March 8. The new degree was developed based on the high demand for licensed social workers within the areas surrounding 91��Ƭ��’s Regional Campuses. A recent labor data report demonstrated that job postings for social workers increased by 21% in Northeast Ohio from 2019 to 2020.
