On Tuesday morning, a fire was reported at the University Inn, 540 S. Water St. in Kent. University officials sent out a text message warning residents to stay away from the area. The fire is believed to have broken out on the seventh floor, with two people transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation. Phase V Summer 2023 (June August) 

  • Design and launch Advisor Listening Tour.
  • Use subcommittees recommendations to begin research on infrastructure and implementation.
  • Develop strategy to conduct Student Listening Tours.
  • Complete data analysis of Academic Unit Listening Tour, NSSE data (2014, 2017, 2020) and Advisor data (2018).
  • Launch Alumni Phone Campaign.

NYC Fashion watch party

On April 27, the NYC Fashion campus hosted a watch party for 91心頭利's Annual School of Fashion show watch party in their space. 91心頭利 alumni were invited  to mingle and watch the livestream of the annual fashion show together. 91心頭利 University Assistant Professor Richard Piet, Ph.D., has received a $1.7 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to aid in his ongoing neuroendocrinology research.  Piet, who is in the Department of Biological Sciences, studies the effects of light on the brain, specifically how circadian rhythms our internal body clock that registers to daylight and darkness over a 24-hour cycle and controls daily rhythms in physiology and behaviors play a role in the release of various hormones from the hypothalamus area of the brain, which in turn play a vital role in fert...
