Furtado has served on numerous boards of trustees in Knoxville, Tennessee. Currently, she serves on the boards of the Cleveland International Film Festival and Hillel at 91¿´Æ¬Íø University. Furtado is married to 91¿´Æ¬Íø’s 13th President, Todd Diacon, and the couple have a son.
